A recent television ad was brought to our attention by a new patient who was eager to purchase her next pair of glasses from an online retailer.  The ad featured a famous hockey player, Trevor Linden, questioning the traditional “high cost” of glasses when ‘a frame, some screws, and two plastic lenses should cost much less!’  The site, ClearlyContacts, promised a complete pair of glasses starting from $38.
